Bradly VanDerStad has the most comprehensive experience of the candidates running for Providence City Council in Ward 3. 


Bradly begins his service career with AmeriCorps National Civilian Corps, building houses with Habitat for Humanity and supporting the National Park Service



Bradly begins teaching middle school math at a Title I school through Teach for America, and witnesses the true impact of poverty on a child's development. 


Bradly opens the Providence Tour Company, his small business which has since given hundreds of visitors their first taste of Providence and employs several hardworking Rhode Islanders.

Bradly supports the Rhode Island Pride Food and Supply Drive in the early days of COVID-19, a grassroots effort that fed 14,000 Rhode Islanders and raised over $112,000.

Bradly completes his Master's Degree in Public Administration at Roger Williams University and joins the Rhode Island Army National Guard*.
